Sales & Move-in Coordinator

Description:The Department Sales and Move-in Coordinator works with the sales team in the successful implementation of sales goals and is responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the resident move-in and sales events processes.
Duties:
  • Coordinates all activities associated with the resident move-in process.
  • Oversees external vendor activitites involved in the resident move-in process.
  • Supports residents throughout the entire move/transfer process.
  • Uses independent judgment in resolving resident occupancy issues.
  • Coordinates pre and post move-in inspections by residents and appropriate community staff.
  • Manages the sales event process.
  • Communicates with the sales team through written reports, updates and presentations.
  • May assist sales team with facility tours. The facility operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred with minimum two (2) years experience in marketing, sales or similar; or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in senior living communities is preferred.
  • Excellent ability to interact and communicate with a variety of people, both on a one-on-one basis and in meetings and group presentations; must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset, and sometimes hostile people; must be able to communicate in a manner understandable by older adults.
  • Ability to think logically in order to troubleshoot, analyze situations, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and delegate responsibility and duties.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self motivated for success; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent project management skills with detail orientation; excellent diplomatic and negotiation skills.
  • Must be flexible and willing to adjust to changing environments and schedules.
  • Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail systems, and Internet browsers.
